It's been a long time, since i left you, without a dope beat to step to,.....

Well, it been a long time, since I left you, without a dope beat to step to,........Wow, i just turned 24. Alot has happened since my last post. Had the pleasure of attending the wrap up party for a production "Bob The Butler." Was held @ lucy mae brown, a club near richards and robson. Was a fairly nice venue, and a good crowd to socialize with. Had a chance to meet the production co-ordinaters from the film, Robyn and Jackie. But alas, it was a work nite, and couldn't stay nearly as late as i would of liked to. I am currently workin with, (wish it was on,) Fantastic Four thats in town. I work for Film Logic Customs Brokers, and FF is our client. Being the friendly person that I am, I hope to cultivate a few friends/contacts from this production. I eventually need to get to know people in the industry in order to get exposure. I have so many ideas that have bubbled and brewed forth from my brain, but alas, where do I take them? Or rather, who do I take them to? I not only have movie/script ideas, but also short story/epic novel ideas that have been building themselves from my sedated, slumbersome sancticity/sanity. I guess my insecurity and unsureness of my true talents are my own worse enemies in the end.
I can only succeed or fail as fast as I allow myself to.
Lets see, what else has happened?
Canada won the World Championship of Hockey, (rightly so.) They avenged their '96 loss to the Americans, (5-3 loss in Montreal, Set 14th, 1996.) They played Finland in this years final, winning 3-2. Shane Doan poped the winner @ 0:34 of the 3rd, from Thornton and Foote.).......But what ensued after our grand victory?...........
............ Fuckin NHL Lockout. If you ask me, they boys from both sides of the arguement should sit down, and listen to a song from the Beastie Boys; "Get It Together". Maybe that'd set a few things straight, eh?
Not too sure what else to ramble on about, other than the fact that I had to make a few long term decisions for myself, and the path that lies before me. "See y'all on the flipside," Rocco once said in Boondock Saints.

Well, the other night...

... I was given an invite to attend the cast and crew screening of Catwoman. It was filmed here in Vancouver. (My work handled the account, so we were pretty heavily involved.)  All and all, not too great. Not horrible, but not too great. The CGI of catwoman was great, as were the sweeping city shots that spiral you into various scenes.       After the screening, I was also invited out to attend the wrap up party for a production titled, "The Condemned" . It was held @ the Vancouver Rowing Club @ Stanley Park. Good food, good atmosphere, good people. The person we were working alongside for this account was Sergio Sato, a producer for Triton Films. (www.tritonfilms.net). Was an awesome guy to work with, even a better guy to socialize with. All and all, Thursday night, (22July04) will go down as an awesome night in the Pearsonic Archives.

(Wel)Come one, (wel)come all!........

Welcome to the beginning of it all, Pearsonic Productions. I give thanks to my colleague Rob for finding this first, (yet ever important,) stepping stone for establishing Pearsonic Productions.       I also give thanks to Guy Russell and Venus Probe Productions for giving me the proverbial 'kick-in-the-ass,' inspiring me and motivating me to get back to and tap my creative juices, (which never seem to cease flowing.)

Well, thats it for now, just wanted to give 'biggie-ups' to those who help (and have helped) make (made) it happen.
